With the integrated introduction of SAP in the production unit, the DHU team and i+o have successfully completed the expansion projects of Germany’s leading manufacturer of homeopathic drugs. The newly created IT system’s architecture allows the handling of about 400,000 different finished drugs – from the production of the active agent via shape forming to the packaged drug.

The operating company of the Vnukovo airport, 30 miles southwest of Moscow, has commissioned i+o Industry Planning + Organization GmbH & Co. KG for the planning of their new catering facility. With this project, i+o has obtained yet another contract in Russia. The Vnukovo airport is not only used for domestic flights but also for destinations throughout Europe, as well as for private jets and is known as Russia‘s presidents airport. In view of the current expansion of the airport to 10 million passengers per year, the catering facility is now also adjusting to the new volume.

Following an intensive adjustment and realisation phase, the newly implemented warehouse management system SAP LES for the Distribution Centre of RWZ Rhein Main eG went live thanks to i+o Industry Planning + Organization GmbH & Co. KG. The project management consisted of the project steps Business Blueprint, Customising, Implementation, and Go-live Preparation as well as subsequent Go Live Support.

Thomas Kilimann, Director/Partner of i+o, became an official member of the BVL Research Council (German Logistics Association) in mid May. The research branches of the BVL conduct research projects within a large spectrum of logistics topics. This includes universities and colleges as well as other research institutes that are accredited by the BVL.
